San Pancho Skates!
Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 9:35AM Twenty new skateboards in the hands of twenty happy kids from San Pancho, Mexico. In the background: Silas Burger and Daniel Chater - two Berkeley High School freshmen who gathered more than twenty donated skateboards from friends and local vendors to bring to San Pancho. Before this, San Pancho skaters had only a love of the sport, but nothing to ride on.
Look for more on the story of how our art supply round-up expanded to include a beach clean-up, skateboard give-away, and plans for a San Pancho Skate Park!

That was a fine thing you've done to those children! With those, they can pursue the sport they love to do, in which they can't manage to in the past. This also made me remember the time when I was a kid, when my uncle from Bartlett gave me a brand new skateboard since he mistakenly bought two, which is convenient since all of my friends are skating. It has been my habit to roll around with my board after school, visits to the dentist, and so on. But as soon as I learned more, the instances of me getting hurt is getting higher, though getting bruised and having my teeth knocked off and getting it patched up by the dentist (Bartlett), it was never an issue, since it is a learning experience!
