Westside Studio Art Teacher Training was designed to assist classroom teachers and specialists to guide students in the discovery of their unique artistic voices. Participants will learn to instruct children at every grade level to develop skills in a variety of fine art media as well as how to encourage their students to think critically about the methods and concepts behind their work.

Fall Training Dates

Week One

• October 7, 2011 – 7-10pm
• October 8, 2011 – 10am-5pm
• October 9, 2011 – 12-6pm

Week Two

• November 11, 2011 – 7-10pm
• November 12, 2011 – 10am-5pm
• November 13, 2011 – 12-6pm 

Additional 2-3 hours

Each student will schedule a time to present a self-designed lesson to one of my YAWS classes. As a follow up, each student will schedule a one-hour private reflection/feedback session. 

Course Tuition:

Tuition is $850 for a 34-hour immersion workshop. Tuition reduction through sliding scale is available.
